Susan Haigh
Susan Haigh was born on Salt Spring Island and has always lived close to nature. Working in oils or acrylic on canvas or board, she creates compositions from her own reference photographs. With an eye for the special details that characterize each plant, her paintings are full of light and vibrant colour.
Susan Haigh studied at the Victoria College of Art. Over the years she has been represented by various Art Galleries on Salt Spring Island and in Victoria, BC. She is an active Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists.
Her paintings can be found in private collections in Canada, USA, Germany and New Zealand.
