Studio 106 Art Gallery in Victoria, BC
Studio 106 is an Art Gallery in Victoria and gift shop, located in the historic Seaman’s Institute Building in James Bay, near Fisherman’s Wharf. We feature Canadian artists and artisans that are inspired by nature.
Our belief is that art should be for everyone! In our gallery we exhibit and sell original paintings and sculptures, as well as prints and art cards. In our gift shop you will find locally sourced handcrafted gift ware, unique jewellery and one of a kind gifts.

New to the gallery are Bob McLeod Glass stunning wall hangings! Bob and his wife, Shannon, have collaborated to produce these incredible wall hangings
Working out of their studio in Campbell River they have come up with a method of securely hanging these beautiful pieces, so that they capture light, sparkle and cast interesting shadows that produce magical results. Midnight blue and amethyst purple!

Happy Anniversary Jenna!
In celebration of Jenna’s one year anniversary with Studio 106, we would like to tell you what a great person she is.
Jenna Zayat lights the room with her engaging smile and positive nature and is truly a delight to work with. As a graduate from Alberta University of the Arts with a BFA in Painting, she has an excellent understanding and eye for art. She has been working on her Masters in Art Therapy while working part time at the gallery and has started her practicum. Jenna’s kind and compassionate nature and education will undoubtedly make her an excellent Art Therapist.
In her free time, her art practice consists of medium to smaller scale works of the human body, it’s psyche and how gendered and non- gendered bodies are represented in media and real life. She shares a loving home with her partner, Maddie and adorable cat, Forest.

We are thrilled to welcome Richard Linzey’s acrylic paintings to the gallery! 🎨 Inspired by subjects encountered during travel and a lifetime passion for history and architecture, Richard strives to capture the feelings evoked by a particular experience or to reveal some aspect of the world not immediately apparent to the casual observer. Following a career in heritage conservation, he has rediscovered the satisfaction that comes from artistic expression, nurtured in childhood by his mother, a landscape painter. Now, navigating a neurological condition affecting his sight, he finds painting, and the pursuit of engaging subject matter both therapeutic and calming.
