Kristina Boardman was born in Lancashire, England, and emigrated to Canada as a young girl. Her family initially settled in Alberta, but after a holiday to the west coast her family fell in love with Victoria, BC and moved the following year. Growing up, she loved long walks and collecting pebbles on the beach. She is endlessly intrigued with painting stones- the varied colour, texture, and beautiful markings. She often holds them as she paints, and they give her a feeling of peace and tranquillity.
