David studied sculpture at Ravensbourne College of Art and Design in London, UK. After graduating, he trained as a teacher of Art and Design gaining his P.G.C.E. He has been teaching and exhibiting ever since. He has taught at Metchosin International School of the Arts, Victoria College of Art, and Brentwood College. In 2012 – present, David founded, and co-teaches clay sculpting at the ‘Sculpt Italy’ summer school, in Pietrasanta, Italy. Some of David’s sculptures have been displayed in the Sidney Sculpture walk; Kingsbrae Sculpture walk; Castlegar Sculpture walk; Cranbrook; Penticton and the Oak Bay Sculpture walk. David continues to sculpt and paint in his studio based in James Bay, Victoria.
